From home to work: Germany


The pilot course “From Home to work” started in Hamburg (Germany) on 13 March and it will last for 10-12 weeks. The training is coordinated by the German partner "Hamburger Volkshochshule". This training is addressed to unemployed adult learners. to improve their employability thanks to Soft skills. Training programme for Adult staff: open for applications


ICARO project opens the procedure to select the volunteers to be trained on soft-skills for adult educators.  Following the project’s application, five professionals will be involved in training of adult people or long-term unemployed. They will be selected by the national partners in their home countries ( Servicio Regional de Empleo y Formacion de Murcia; KEK Tehnikes Sholes Epimelitriou Irakleiou; Socialiniu Inovaciju Fondas and Hamburger Volkschoschschule).   The 5 days-training will take place in November in Hamburg. Building an innovative curriculum on soft-skills for adult learners in Europe


The project “Innovative Curriculum on Soft Skills for Adult learners” (ICARO) is funded by the European Union programme, Erasmus +, and aims to design a customised, bespoke training course for adult learners with low skills to assist their (re)integration into the labour market. The project consists of a consortium of partner organisations from six European countries – Spain, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Lithuania and Ireland. ICARO will run for two years from November 2017 to August 2019. Bringing soft-skills for adults to LLLP Conference


The Annual Conference of the Lifelong Learning Platform on “Lifelong Learning Culture: A partnership for rethinking education” took place at the crossroads of Bulgarian and Austrian Presidencies of the Council of the EU last July in Vienna.
